|
|
| I was just entering some Dead shows that have multiple available possible sources. My clear recollection is that last time I did this, when the show date came up showing the multiple sources, the source # was visible in that window and one simply clicked that and were done. It appears that now you have to at least hover over each source to have the number appear. Is there some reason for this? Is there some way to make the source #s show up? Can it be switched back to the old way that saved a step? |

I think that your recollection is wrong.
When a Source is submitted by a non-admin, it goes into a queue for approval. Some admins are quite quick at approving, but others are not, and hey, if you catch me when I happen to be logged into the site it could take 10 seconds. But, generally, it could also be 24 hours.
If you know the Source ID # -- which generally you would not -- then you can bring up a page that looks like this: http://db.etree.org/shn/101897 But, as you said, the corresponding Show entry has no reference to the Source: http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=464818 If the Source came up immediately, than anyone could submit a U2 or Bob Dylan Source and muck up the legal-only side of db.etree.
If it was ever otherwise, that must have been a long time ago. |
